"I've been running networking events in Bristol for the last 9 months via my LinkedIn group Human Resources UK and have another coming up in May.  I'd be more than happy to tie this in with ConnectingHR if anyone's interested?"

I'm a (nice) HR recruiter, a LinkedIn trainer and somewhat addicted to social media. I blog (a lot) via my own blog and I edit Discuss HR, the blog affiliated to Human Resources UK, a LinkedIn forum with 6,000+ members - which I also manage (I did say I was addicted to SM!).
