Me too Charlie. I’m not in Bristol, although I did live there in Clifton for a year or so, and am still based out that way in the Thames Valley – so I would definitely try to attend a tweet-up and meet more social HR types out that way – if that’d be OK of course. I’m looking forward to some great fish & chips from the shop at the bottom of Christmas Steps on the way home too!

I've been running networking events in Bristol for the last 9 months via my LinkedIn group Human Resources UK and have another coming up in May. I'd be more than happy to tie this in with ConnectingHR if anyone's interested?
